The Erima - 9 Mile road is part of the Sir Hubert Murray Highway which was upgraded by Dekenai Constructions. Now a four lane road it has finally brought relief to residents living in the 8 and 9 mile area which was once know for its a snail pace traffic congestion.

The road upgrade:

• started at Erima roundabout and ended at 9 mile
• upgraded from a 2 lane road to a 4 lane road
