How to Guides (Registration Advice)

Over existing titles/leases, the Office of the Registrar of Titles register the different types of dealings. For more information on the type of dealings registered and the respective forms to be used, click forms.
Please ensure that all forms are printed in DUPLEX format (that is printing on both sides) and on a prescribed format. The colour of the forms must be in blue. Please note that if this format is not complied with, The Office of the Registrar of Titles will be unable to register your documents/dealings, thus they will be outrightly rejected.

Please be aware that the prescribed forms you are about to download or print have been designed to cater for each specific dealing. Advice is available on how to execute the forms or contact us for more advice if sitll unsure.
To register a dealing over a property, the original documents that had been executed by all parties must be lodged accompanied by the original owner's copy of title with the necessary fees including registration fees and outstanding rentals fully paid.
The registration of controlled dealings as stipulated under Section 128 of Land Act 1996, approval of the Minister or his delegated must be sought prior to the registration. Click here for more information about the controlled dealings.
