Policy Analysis Unit This unit is mainly responsible in ensuring that the Department has a sound Policy and Legislative framework. The Unit screens policies of respective Divisions to ensure that they comply with the Departments' policies and the National Governments Policies. This Unit ensures that they have a clear understanding of stakeholder requirements and whereby recommend to Executive Management of measures to assist fulfil these requirements. The unit also has the responsibility of publishing all the necessary processes and procedures concerning the department's official activitiesThe following are the types of services provided by the unit; • Stake holder liaison:- Facilitates the Understanding of stakeholder requirements • Research and analysis:- Facilitates the Understanding of current issues pertaining to Land and Physical Planning • Policy development:- Facilitates a sound policy framework • Providing brochures : - All DL&PP processes and procedures are captured and provided to DL&PP stakeholders
