Physical Planning

Physical Planning is the spatial expression of the desired form of social and economic development. The purpose of Physical Planning is to establish and maintain a framework of Physical Planning nationwide which aligns the ongoing conversion of land uses and spatial development with long term government objectives for sustainable economic and social development.

Development Planning Application Process

The Physical Planing Act establishes the Office of the Chief Physical Planner to administer the Physical Planning Act, 1989. The OCPP is also established to maintain standards of Physical Planning throughout Papua New Guinea.
