Mr. Pepi Kimas The Secretary of Department of Lands and Physical Planning

The Office of the Secretary for Lands and Physical Planning is located on Level 4, Tower 2 of Aopi Centre at Waigani. In terms of the structural setup of the department the Office is identified within the General Management Division which comprises of:

Executive Officer
Corporate Planning and Monitoring Officer
Governance and Compliance Unit
Public Relations Officer and Support Staff

The Office functions to ensure that the Department is managed effectively and efficiently; and that it is accountable and transparent and operates with integrity and probity at all times. Critical also is the need to resolve issues to the satisfaction of Government and the stakeholders and consistent with the vision of the Department, create an enabling environment that reconciles traditional views with recognition that land is an essential resource for economic advancement.
